Masterclasses on Entrepreneurial Excellence: Advancing strategies for startup founders throughout their financial journey from startup to scale-up to exit.
The masterclass on Entrepreneurial Excellence offers comprehensive insights and strategies tailored for startup founders embarking on their financial journey from inception to exit.
Delving into key stages of the entrepreneurial lifecycle β startup, scale-up, and exit β the masterclass equips participants with essential knowledge and tools to navigate challenges and optimize opportunities at each phase.
Seasoned experts will share practical approaches, innovative techniques, and real-world case studies to empower entrepreneurs in achieving sustainable growth, securing investment, managing risk, and ultimately maximizing value upon exit.
π’ PRIOR TO THE EVENT
π The School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov & the WBAF, an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion (GPFI), have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, paving the way for “Masterclasses on Entrepreneurial Excellence.”
π Signed on May 16th, 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding marks a commitment of the School for Young Leaders of President Ivanov and the WBAF to empower startup founders on their financial journey β from startup to scale-up to exit. πΌπ‘
ποΈ π EVENT TIMELINE
- 4-Week Program Timeline (Weekends Only):
- Weekend days up to 4 hours per day, from 9:00 am β 1:00 pm
- Thursday and/or Friday afternoon with sessions up to 3 hours per day and after working hours (5-8:00 pm).
- The program will have a total of 12 sessions.
- The start of the program is on June 7, 2024 (Friday) and the end of the program is on June 30, 2024 (Sunday).Β
π EVENT VENUE
- The program will combine both in-person and online sessions.
- In-person sessions will be held at the Innox Innovation Center (InnoX, Macedonia Square, No: 1, Skopje, Macedonia) on the following dates:
- Friday-Saturday: June 7-8, 2024
- Friday-Sunday: June 28-30, 2024
- Online sessions will be conducted via the Zoom platform on the following dates:
- Thursday-Saturday: June 13-15, 2024
- Thursday-Saturday: June 20-22, 2024

- Lecture: Non-Financial Roadmap of Entrepreneurs;
- Lecture: Financial Roadmap of Entrepreneurs;Β
WEEK 2:
- Lecture: Understanding Business Models and Understanding the Market;
- Lecture: The Problem – Solution Fit and The Product – Market Fit;
- Lecture: Understanding Key Performance Indicators and Developing a Pitch
WEEK 3:
- Lecture: How do Investors Identify Opportunities? and How do They Create a Portfolio of Startup Investments?;
- Lecture: Understanding Due Diligence & Risk Management Techniques of Investors and How Do Investors Set Deal Terms with Startup Ventures?;
- Lecture: How do Investors Negotiate the Deal? and Online Group Mentorship Session
WEEK 4:
- Lecture: What do angel investors learn before they invest in startups? Video Watching with a Q&A Session;
- Finalizing startup projects and preparing for presentations and Sample pitching: Videos Watching with Q&A;
- Startup project presentations, Post-program networking and follow-up activities;
- Closing ceremony.
During the program, you will have the invaluable opportunity to work closely with mentors who will provide personalized guidance, advice, and support tailored to your specific startup project. They will share their knowledge, experiences, and insights to help you navigate challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and accelerate your startup’s growth. At the end of the program, you will have the exclusive opportunity to showcase your startup project in front of our “Shark Tank” panel consisting of five potential investors. This platform will allow you to pitch your business idea, demonstrate its potential, and potentially secure investment from experienced investors who can help take your startup to the next level. It’s a unique chance to gain valuable exposure, receive feedback from industry experts, and potentially secure the funding needed to propel your startup forward.

The Program is intended only for the active members of the Alumni Association of Ivanov School for Young Leaders (ISLAA).Β This means that the program is specifically designed for individuals who are currently active members of the ISLAA, meaning they are presently engaged with or involved in the association’s activities, rather than just being nominal members.

The application consists of attaching documents and data about the applicants, such as a CV, their profession, current occupation, LinkedIn profile, contact details, etc.
The applicants should keep in mind that the number of participants the program can accommodate is limited. Therefore, applications will be processed in the order they are received, meaning those who apply earlier have a higher chance of securing a spot.
The selection process will be conducted by the event organizers – the Cabinet of former President Ivanov, the International Center Alliance of Civilizations, and the Ivanov School for Young Leaders Alumni Association. Additionally, the selection process will be confirmed in coordination with the World Business Angels Investment Forum.
