Day 11 – Lecture, Program dedicated to 100-year Anniversary of the Turkish Republic and Oratory Evening
On the eleventh day of President Ivanov’s School for Young Leaders, the program was planned with a lecture, a program dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of the Turkish Republic and an Oratory Evening.
Dr. Ivan Radev, from the Macedonian Academy for Sciences and Arts, a philologist, linguist and translator from the Chinese language delivered the first lecture on the topic “Confucius’ theory of education”.
The day continued with a program dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey. In that honor, President Gjorge Ivanov first addressed the audience, and then, the following guests delivered their speeches: the coordinator of the TIKA office in Skopje, Mr. Mehmed Bajrak, professors Ali Fethi Okyar and Ilkim Buke Okyar from Yeditepe University in Istanbul, Prof. Dr. Enis Redzep, professor at the European University in Skopje. Also, Mr. Oguzhan Ceylan, who is also one of the participants in this year’s School, spoke on behalf of the Marmara Foundation from Istanbul. This part of the program was moderated by Mr. Ismail Aliji.
At the end of the day, the participants were part of an Oratory Evening where they gave appropriate speeches in which they talked about their life stories and how they see leadership as a human trait.
